The most notable civic facilities realized by VCES include several tens of schools, hospitals, retirement homes and social care institutions, and also regional directorates of Fire Brigades in Litoměřice, Pardubice and Hradec Králové. In the past, many of these buildings won significant awards, for example:

• Primary School at Rychnov nad Kněžnou - Building of the Year 2000 title
• Pardubice University- Prize of the magazine Builder 2000
• Sports Complex Sázava - nominated for the Building of the Year 2002 title
• Retirement Home in Hradec Králové - Building of the Year 2002 title
