HR Development Programmes

VCES has created an "Assistants Programme" for university graduates, which helps them get off the ground in their career. The programme is based on the idea of placing a graduate as an assistant in an area chosen by him/her (construction, finance, ITS…). Under the guidance of experienced colleagues, the graduates have an opportunity to gain practical skills and experience they will need when they are promoted to another, usually higher position.

Under the "Professional and Personal Skills Training Programme" all employees are included in training courses in which they foster their professional knowledge or have an opportunity to extend it, or improve their managerial skills and capabilities.

"Succession Programme" helps our company to seek so called. "stand-by reserves" thus ensuring a smooth filling of key posts according to organisational structure. The company prepares a series of managerial courses for selected employees focused on strategic management and planning, communication, financial management and other managerial skills. The courses prepare the employees for higher managerial positions.

Through its long-term "Employee Evaluation Programme" the company ensures ongoing efficient motivation of employees and appreciation of their performance. Evaluation of employees is clearly reflected in the growth of the corporate culture and helps individuals to identify their personal goals with that of the company. Last, but not least, it is also a good way to discover capable and talented employees.

Employee Welfare Programme

Each year, VCES formulates its social policy and welfare programme in the form of its Social Programme. The programme summarises activities, which the company provides to its employees.

In the area of general welfare, VCES ensures provision of health care, including above standard care. In addition to this, our company applies a set of occupational safety and health protection measures, grants employees the highest possible reimbursement of travel costs in line with the Act on Reimbursement of Travel Costs and also a one-week of holiday extra. The welfare programme also includes help in complicated life situations during which the company either provides, or mediates, legal assistance.
Our company regularly rewards employees on the occasion of notable life or work anniversaries, and also significant events in one’s life, for example birth of a child, wedding or retirement.

Other activities which VCES prepares for its employees include corporate encounters, company ball, meetings of work teams (including partners), meetings of senior managers, meetings of heads of work groups with the top management, social events for women (employees and partners of employees), events for children, such as "Children’s Day" and "St. Nicolas distribution of presents". The company does not forget retired employees for whom it organises regularly once a year a social event. The list of events for employees also includes various sports events (tennis tournaments, bike trips, soccer tournaments, hiking trips), and also trips to building fairs, theatre performances etc.
