Description:

The new building of the Nursing home located closely to the five-storied building of the existing home is designed as a two-storied building. The composition is created by two arched wings with medical rehabilitation rooms, medical background and with accommodation rooms interconnected by the central communication hall combined with an access ramp for handicapped seniors in chairs. The ceiling structure as well as the ramp and the staircase are built from monolithic reinforced concrete slabs. The roofing is solved using a traditional wooden roof truss with a conical surface merging into plane surfaces of hipped roofs roofed using burnt plain tiles.
The Project was awarded by the "Building of the Year 2002" title.
