A brand new car for Children’s home in Holice sponsored by VCES Group
The Children’s home in Holice was the venue of the festive event on Friday, November 4, 2011. Representatives of VCES Property Development, Foundation Terre Plurielle (group Bouygues Construction), Citroen Czech Republic and with attendance of representative of Pardubice region, they handed over a brand new car to children’s home inhabitants to use.
VCES Property Development as well as entire VCES group has been the part of Bouygues Construction – the second largest construction group in the world since 2006. Bouygues Construction consistently fulfills the idea of sustainable development in all its organizations in construction field but also in social responsibility to the people and environment. The Foundation Terre Plurielle has been established to support social and educational projects in countries where the Bouygues Construction operates.
The Foundation funds mainly projects of social character in order to financially and physically assists residents in unfavourable situations by improving the access to education and educational activities, especially to children and women. The Foundation supports from 10 to 12 projects every year and thanks to the initiative of VCES Property Development, The Terre Plurielle Foundation can support first project implemented in Central Europe this year.
The children's home has obtained new Citroen Jumpy with 9 seats to enable the main aim of its educational project – trips for children to discover historical and architectural heritage of the Czech Republic. This purchase was allowed by financing of Terre Plurielle Foundation in cooperation with Citroen Company. The foundation participates on project with amount of 16.793 EUR (approx. 411 417 CZK) and Citroen gives the car with the special price offer discount more than 35% from market price.
"We are very pleased that this project has been achieved. Thanks to this vehicle we are able to realize intended educational program. Our children will learn about the beauty of our country and also about the difficulty of preservation of historical monuments for future generations. Apart from historical places children will visit the facilities of VCES company and production plant of Citroen, "said Ondrej Vyborny, director of children's home. "The dedicated funds were partially used to pay the price of the vehicle, another part will be used to fund trips and to buy backpacks for children,“ added Vyborny.
"The history of VCES group has been closely linked to Eastern Bohemia, where the company had been founded. Nowadays, it’s still the region where VCES Property Development operates. VCES construction group has always supported sports, cultural and social activities of public life. Considering these aspects, we wanted to help to Children's Home in Holice with its educational program in cooperation with the Terre Plurielle Foundation and Citroen company. We were very interested in this project and their motivation to make it," said Frans Rammaert, director of VCES Property Development.
