Purpose: Assurance on Environmental Quality

EcoSite  is since January 2010 a sign of internal environmental site quality of Bouygues Constructioncompanies . VCES is part of this group since 2006. Mark may be awarded to the site which meets clearly defined criteria. Impartial assessment is done by the independent auditor of Bouygues Construction. The main aim is to implement environmental policies, to demonstrate to our clients that the environment and sustained efforts to reduce the environmental footprint of our buildings. The part of EcoSite initiative , which is a tool to promote the objectives of ISO 14001:2005 and EMAS, is also sharing of good practice across the Bouygues Construction group and promotion of the brand.
Receiving EcoSite label recognizes the environmental efforts of the project team on site, but also the assurance to customers that in the construction  the environmental impacts were eliminated or minimized.

In order to mitigate the impact of its construction activities on the environment, Bouygues Construction has set its own environmental standards binding on all its subsidiaries and projects. These standards are based on international experience with the legislation in different countries where Bouygues Construction operates. Many years of practical experience in construction were also used, which brought proven environmental practices. EcoSite standards are a way to ensure our clients that we will carry out construction work as carefully, with maximum regard for the environment, including local residents. Standards define for our teams clear environmental goals which has to be achived during project realization. They are in full respect of national laws and environmental opportunities of the region.
