This large water management project comprised six parts: intensification of wastewater treatment plant I in Mladá Boleslav and extension of the sewer networks in all places listed above. VCES completed the construction part of the wastewater treatment plant I and the construction of all sewer lines with the exception of Benátky nad Jizerou. The wastewater treatment plant was reconstructed during the plant’s full operation which required division of works to three phases. Newly built were the activation and settling tanks as well as the sludge pumping station including a new measurement facility. Other works included adaptation of the wastewater pumping station and the septic tanks and their machine room. The original complex biological lines were rebuilt into an emergency tank and a facility for sludge drainage and thickening. The sedimentation tanks, as well as the separation structure were also rebuilt. The project also included reconstruction of the boiler house, construction of a new transformer station and the related adjustments of the linking and cable distribution lines, roads and fences. In the framework of the sewer lines extension VCES built
