On the eve of the anniversary of 17th November, the foundation stone for a new Chemical Technology Faculty complex of the Pardubice University was laid in the presence of Petra Buzková, the Czech Republic’s Minister of Education, Youth and Sports.
The new complex of the Faculty of Chemical Technology worth a total of CZK 943.3 million will be built jointly by Metrostav a.s., VCES a.s. and UNISTAV a.s. The project will be financed from several sources: CZK 900 million will be paid from the state budget and the Pardubice University will cover the rest (CZK 43.3 million) from its own resources. The construction will be completed in 25 months and the contractors will hand over the work to the investor by the end of October 2007.
The architectural design was prepared by architects Ladislav Kuba and Tomáš Pilař.
