Description:
EURO Hotel is a new four-star hotel built near the historic centre of Pardubice. The skeleton of the five-story building is formed from a monolithic structure. Porotherm brickwork has been used for the 3rd–5th aboveground storeys and for vertical inside structures. The roofing has been conceived as a single-jacketed nonwalkable structure with bitumen hydroinsulation. The flooring is adapted to the purpose and to the use of individual rooms and includes stone floor tiles, wood, and heavy-duty carpets. The facade of the building is made of smooth permeable acrylate plastering. Double-glazed insulated aluminum windows set 50mm in the facade create the impression of plasticity. The well-designed and tasteful layout of the lobby with huge glazed walls connecting the restaurant, lounges and the foyer in one space is an interesting architectonic feature. The hotel offers its guests accommodation in 64 rooms. The facility has been designed as barrier-free, and there are 33 parking places adjacent to the hotel.
