The aim of the project was to save a cultural monument, a baroque presbytery, and also to build a home for orphaned children who live in foster-care families. The reconstruction of the presbytery was carried out with a view to the original materials used and the layout of the building; all valuable features were preserved. The facade combines colour and white details which form a pattern. The old windows were replaced with replicas of historical jamb windows in white colour. The old slate roof tiles were torn down and replaced with new asbestos slate tiles. The annex is connected with the old building by a short corridor. Both parts, the old presbytery and the new annex, are a separate building – in terms of structure and appearance. The annex is built of POROTHERM bricks and the ceiling structure consists of Miako joists and inserts. A span roof with attic windows is covered with red ceramic roof tiles; the roof truss is made of wood in steel frames. The windows are wooden EURO windows.
