Description:

From the point of view of architecture, the construction comprises three parts: a multipurpose concert hall, vestibule and the areas for the musicians. There are 560 seats, 16 boxes, a balcony and areas for the performers in the concert hall whose acoustic parameters are at the level of European concert halls. 20cm thick peripheral walls are made of steel reinforced concrete. The structure of the balcony is formed by a steel truss frame. A light steel structure with aluminum glazed wall form the foyer and access to the balcony and boxes. The staircase consists of a steel structure, while the front part of the treads is formed by a steel tube and the load-bearing part is made of steelconcrete. The modern design is enhanced by glass balustrades with stainless steel handrails. Old thick walls in the reconstructed vestibule were replaced with a light steel structure and a Musicians Club was located in the vacated space on the ground floor. A double foil hydroinsulation system was used in the building because of the high level of ground water.
