Description:

The building is a mechanical and biological waste water treatment plant with facilities for sludge handling and disposal. A set of two parallel lines for biological treatment of waste ensures centrifugal sludge dewatering (thickening). This guarantees higher stability of the operation and facilitates repairs. The applied technology of waste water treatment ensures the efficient removal of organic pollution and a greater elimination of nitrogen compounds through biological nitrification and denitrification. The capacity of the treatment plant is 10,500 EO. The project also included building a 770m long main drain /sewage collector and the reconstruction of 4,400m of sewage lines in the town. Suitable groundwork and landscaping helped incorporate this work in the countryside. The construction won a special award in the "Building Of The Year 2004 of the Pardubice region" competition.
